Mystic Armor

The Mystic Armor is the legendary magical armor used by the Mystic Knights to fight the forces of Queen Maeve and Temra.

Description

According to Fin Varra, the Mystic Armor was created long before the time of the little people by ancient ones. They forged the armors from silver and gold, each imbued and reinforced with the elements: Fire, Earth, Air and Water. Each set of armor has a dragon theme and is associated with a different element by color (red for Fire, white for Air, blue for Water, gray for Earth and brown for Forest, respectively) and created to bring peace throughout Island of Kells.

Although a Knight can summon his/her Mystic Armor via his/her Mystic Weapon as sort of transformation trinket, he/she can only do so after proving his/her right by defeating a Temra Sentinel alone. But even he/she is advised to use their armor only during times of dire need.

Each set of armor provides great protection against harm and comes with a Dragon's Breath Dagger and Battle Gauntlet, located on their left arm, which could unleash fiery energy at their enemies.

Original Armors

The following are four original Mystic Armors prior to the creation of the fifth.

	Mystic Armor of Water Mystic Armor of Water is the blue and gold armor that currently in possession of Ivar. Forged from the gold and silver reinforced and imbued with water element, the armor materializes out of watery aura.	Barbed Trident
	Mystic Armor of Air Mystic Armor of Air is the white and gold armor that currently in possession of Deirdre. Forged from the gold and silver reinforced and imbued with air, the armor materializes around the wearer in streams of pinkish wind aura. Forged from the gold and silver reinforced and imbued with the element of forest, the armor materializes around him in a bright emerald aura followed by leaves being blown by the wind, completing the transformation. Trivia

• Interestingly, Mystic Armors are shown more resistant to damage than conventional armors used during the era where the series takes place and are quite comfortable to wear, despite being made of gold and silver; the former alloy is too soft and heavy to be a suitable material for crafting weapons and armor while the latter, though lighter and more durable, is pale in comparison to steel. Thus, it's plausible that silver is the main alloy to craft the armor with gold for its cosmetics and both alloys then reinforced and altered with their respective elemental magic during their construction.
