The Giant Falcon was a once a normal sized bird Mider had given to Queen Maeve and Torc, that was to retrieve a map leading to a special dragon egg that Angus had recently hidden. Upon Rohan and Angus encountering Maeve's army, she used the Rune Stone to turn it into a monster. Rohan and Angus don their Mystic Armor and fought it. Aideen alerted the other knights and Deirdre and Ivar joined the battle and repelled the giant bird.
