The Ancient Scroll is a roll of parchment or paper on which is written the prophecy foretelling the coming of the warrior Draganta and the Mystic Knights. The Scroll appears to be written in ogham, an ancient alphabet.
At some point in the past, the Scroll was torn into multiple pieces that were scattered across the island. One piece, detailing how Draganta would be found and bearing a depiction of the Mark of Destiny, came into the hands of Cathbad the Druid. Another piece that spoke of the Mystic Weapons and Armor was in the possession of King Fin Varra of Tir na Nog.
Later, Queen Maeve tricked Rohan with a scroll that was believed to be a fragment of the Ancient Scroll, but it turned out to be not a part of the Ancient Scroll at all, but instead a ritual for releasing Tyrune. The whereabouts and contents of the remaining pieces of the Ancient Scroll remain unknown.
